About me
I have drawn inspiration from my childhood at Nordstrand, Oslo and in Brooklyn Heights, New York at a time when the different worlds of art, music and poetry exploded and when humans took their first steps on the moon for the first time. My expression also draws inspiration from African art and culture, which my father brought with him from his many trips to Africa. I have participated in many exhibitions organized by different galleries and also by different Lions clubs

About my art
I work within abstract expressionism with figurative elements. Over many years I have developed my own style, where each work of art has its own expression. I work with oil on canvas and DGA, Digital Graphic Artwork. All the DGA´s are printed on Hahnemühle FineArt paper of the highest quality. The paper is acid free and resistant to ageing, numbered and signed. Only a limited number of each painting is printed. DGA is a relatively new technique that combines the analog and digital in the process of making art. The process of DGA is very similar to the process of making a silk-screen print, the difference lies in how the color (ink) is transferred to the sheet and that this technique gives the artist greater control over the finished artwork.
